2025 Policy Agenda

In 2025, we worked to:

Establish a $10M grant program for regional support and capacity building to advance climate-resilient, healthy, efficient schools

The coalition engaged in the budget process with Senate and Assembly leadership to advocate for funding for climate resilient schools. Superintendents from five County Offices of Education (COEs) supported the proposed grant program.
Shape Proposition 2 (State School Bond) Implementation

The coalition submitted a sign-on letter and implementation guidance during the Office of Public School Construction’s (OPSC) stakeholder engagement process to finalize regulations for Proposition 2, the 2024 State School Bond, to drive district and state school facilities decision-making towards climate resilience, health, and safety.
